So anyway, went out with my friends last night to catch Batman: The Dark Knight. WJ pointed out that I looked "stressed". Hahaha. Don't I always? Anyway, I was thinking of some things that I learned at work that day, which disturbed me. I always thought the intentions of people in Sulzer were "pure" and "genuine". What I heard really made me reconsider my point of view. I accept the fact that the end result was inevitable, but the steps undertaken in reaching such a conclusion made me feel very disappointed.
I'm not sure how much of what I heard is true, but then again, the graveness of such a matter doesn't seem to warrant it as a joke. I don't know if the "losing" party knows what actually happened "behind-the-scenes", but from as far as I can tell, I don't think so. Deeply perturbing! Sigh.
Anyway, we watched the movie at 11pm. Bad idea. I dozed off occasionally, but it was during the chatty parts. I cannot believe WJ actually fell asleep at the last part of the movie, and missed all the action along with it. Heath Ledger's portrayal of the Joker deserves praise. Him in the nurses' uniform was particularly funny.
Shaun drove Lynette and I home. Thanks man! Frankly, I wish I could drive. Hahaha, but I seriously suck at it. I wonder if I can finish everything by the end of this year. My instructor says the utmost soonest test date he can get is 4 months from passing FTT. Speaking of which, I failed that goddamn test once, and I shall be going for it again this Monday. I better pass it this time! Urgh.
